I don't how to just return the expression without if/else statement

ScrabblePlayer.java
public class ScrabblePlayer {
  // A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
  private String tiles;
  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    tiles = "";
  }

  public String getTiles() {
    return tiles;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Add the tile to tiles
tiles += tile;
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
  if(tiles.indexOf(tile) > -1){
  return true;
  }
    else{
    return false;
    }
  }

}

just return the conditional statement. it will be resolved to t/f and that will be the return. for example if you put return 1 > 2, the return value would be false.

If you say return tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1; it will check the truth value of that statement and will return whatever the value is. If is considered to be true will return true, if is considered to be false will return false.
