Treehouse TeacherYou can use Java and JavaScript to create apps -- desktop apps, mobile apps AND web apps. What kind of apps are you interested in making?
Keep in mind that Java and JavaScript are two VERY different programming languages and which you choose will affect how you create those apps.

Treehouse TeacherWhat kind of app do you want to make? A web app that people use in their web browser; an app that runs on a mobile phone; or an app that you install on a desktop computer (windows or mac)?
