java firstName

I am not fully understanding what to do on one of my java tasks

IO.java
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine("what is your name");
String lastName = console.readLine("church");
console.printf("%s", firstName)
  1. On the first line you wrote, you'll want to just ask for the first name, since firstName is the variable you're storing it in.
  2. On your second line, remember that what you're passing in to the console.readLine method is not the answer("church")--it is the prompt for the user. Something like "What is your last name?"
  3. Don't forget a semicolon after your third line.

Like mentioned by Damon, don't forget the semicolon. Your last line should be: console.printf ("%s", firstName);

Hope it helps!

Happy coding!!!
