I've no idea how to get past this! No one told me how to search an array of objects!

How do i get past this challenge?

What exactly are you having an issue with? Have you tried searching at all on your own? You have a significant amount of the Ruby and Javascript courses under your belt and searching arrays of objects are basically the same once you get past the syntax of the language.

Hey Giulio!

Sorry to hear that you're frustrated with this code challenge. This particular code challenge (like most of our code challenges) is designed to reinforce the ideas and concepts that were taught in the previous video, so I'd recommend that you re-watch that video.

https://teamtreehouse.com/library/adding-the-repository

Reviewing material, whether it's a video or a chapter in a book, is something that I find myself doing on a regular basis. That's especially true if any time has elapsed between the initial review and trying to put those new ideas or concepts into practice.

Let me know if you have any further questions and good luck!

Thanks, James

I must've missed that :D

Great answer and i'd like to say i'm sorry for all the frustration i put in this question.

Yesterday I tried for almost an hour straight and i couldn't realize that "if he wants me to do this, the answer must be in one of the videos!".

Anyway great job with the course James, i want to be able to work with Dynamics CRM and SQL Server's scripts so i guess i need to have things like these become second nature :)

foreach(var v in _videoGames) {
  if(v.Id == id) {
     return v;
  }
}

It's going to throw a not all paths return a result error even with this so I would recommend just returning null.
