item.py kerfuffle

really not sure I got any part of this correct.

item.py
# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"
def random_item("stuff"):
    this = random.randint(0, len("stuff") - 1)
        return("stuff"[this])

You need to import the random library to use random.randint. stuff is a variable, not a string, so you don't need quotes around it. The return line has an extra indent.

import random
def random_item(stuff):
    this = random.randint(0, len(stuff) - 1)
    return(stuff[this])
