It seems like i cant get this thing right

i need help on the challenge task 1 of 2

Looks like you're giving the row and column the same properties. But display:flex is just for the container (row), and flex is just for the item (column). So, separate them into two different selectors:

.row {
  display: flex;
}
.column {
  flex: 1 300px;
}

Hi Luigi Rulloda, you have to apply the flex property only. like this:

.row {display: flex;}
.column{flex: 1 300px;}
