I added the swtich and the admin case but it's still not passing. It says that it doesn't see the default output....but it's there. Why is it not passing?
<?php

You have the case statement pretty well correct, you just need to remove the conditional next to the switch. The switch just takes in the variable that you'll be comparing with your various cases.
<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
$role = 'subscriber';
}
//change to switch statement
switch ($role) {
case "admin":
echo "As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.";
break;
default:
echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
}
