You forgot to a dot/period after your index.html on the first line of your code. That might be the reason .

You forgot to add the anchor tag after the li tag. Like this

 <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
</nav>

Now it says that task number two is not passing? What did I do wrong?

Post your code please.

Hi Santiago,

You have this: '''<li> href= "indexnhtml">Portfolio</a></li>''', your code should look like '''<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>'''

Also you need to watch you spelling errors as the browser does not know what to do with indexnhtml, and will not render your landing page.
