If you are stuck on the code challenge part of it, then you need to be sure to only add the specific code that is being asked for, and not add any extra code or other components.

Don't copy paste from workspaces, create a new code inside the code challenge.

Reset this code challenge by refreshing the page and you will see that it is asking you to just add:

<ul>
<li></li>
<li></li>
<li></li>
</ul>

between the

<section>
</section>

part of the code.

I hope this helps!

Hi Jackson,

Read the challenge. You have way too much stuff in there. It just wants to make an ul with 3 li items. In there you should put the images. Nothing more. No links, no alt tags etc. Take it out.

Like this:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>
        <ul>
          <li>
              <img src="numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
          </li>
          <li>
              <img src="numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
          </li>
           <li>
              <img src="numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
          </li>
      </ul>
    </section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

You have actually added too much code - this is all you need to pass the challenge:

<section>
      <ul>
        <li><img src="numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
      </ul>
</section>

Also check the full html you have written here, as you have repeated an extra set of nav ul below the header that you don't need.

As far as I can see you are missing the rest of your source linking

<img src="/numbers-09.jpg" alt="">

it needs to be this <img src="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt="">

BUT also remember where you images are located, you also did not post as to what else was broken, perhaps a little more information would be helpful as well?
