Let's first look at the question in the code challenge.
First,
You're asked to create a new private int field
named lapsDriven
, as you've done.
The problem starts in your drive method. You're trying return a boolean data type where none is needed. It's also asking you to use the post increment shorthand operator which is ++. The same as writing lapsDriven = lapsDriven + 1
;
public void drive(){
lapsDriven++;
}
Finally you'll need to decrement the barCount private int field in the same way, in the same method. Hope this helps :)
