So you've probably already passed the challenge.
But I can tell you why you can't pass the challenge.
Solution
Refresh challenge. Just copy paste ONLY Example
class from here. You will pass. DO not change anything in GoKart
class
Explanation
For some reason, you changed the message thrown with exception in drive
method.
So CORRECT method drive
would be
public void drive(int laps) {
if (laps > barCount) {
throw new IllegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remains");
}
lapsDriven += laps;
barCount -= laps;
}
Your method however has remaining
in message
public void drive(int laps) {
if (laps > barCount) {
// whatever you do in this method makes it wrong.
// simply probably because Craig has written tests that does not take
// into account the fact that you can change the message
throw new IllegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remainining");
}
lapsDriven += laps;
barCount -= laps;
}
Does it make sense ?
Now the question would be , why did you change it ?
