I thinking that syntax is my issue but I'm not sure seeing as Ive tried readjusting everything many times in workspaces. Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong?
def add(num1,num2):
try:
num1= int(num1)
num2= int(num2)
except ValueError:
return None
num1=float(num1)
num2=float(num2)

. There isn't a need to convert to int
first. Replace the try
block code with float
conversion instead of int
's.
