Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings, Variables, and Formatting

It keeps on saying to specify "%s" when i've done everything.

Can anyone give me advice?

Name.java
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "Will";
console.printf ("Hello my name is %s\n firstName");

You need to close your quotation marks for the string directly after %s. Like this:

String firstName = "Will";
console.printf("Hello my name is %s%n", firstName);

Also, in the videos to come you will begin using %n instead of \n.

Although on the challenge, doesn't it tell you to have a different text inside the sentence? Like this:

String firstName = "Will";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
