Make sure saved index.html in the right folder you are trying to open it from. You probably saved it somewhere else.

Thanks Kester!

I think what's messing you up is that first anchor tag. You don't close the tag until after your h2 tag. Right now you have it linking several different elements. If you want it to link to your h1 and h2 tags, then just do this:

<header>
        <nav>
          <ul>
            <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
            <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
            <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
          </ul>
        </nav>
       <a href="index.html">
         <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
         <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
    </header>

Thanks Mitchels - Your help really helped me to beggin to realize where my mistake was. Thanks for your time, cheers all the way from Brazil!
