Issues compiling gradle.

After installing android studio on my new mac, I encountered a java issue. I thought maybe it needed to be installed, or updated, and so I proceeded to the website downloaded the latest, even though java 6 reads better, I just wanted it to work for now so I can figure out everything else later. but after selecting where the JDK was it didn't work still, shows an error for "FAILED TO COMPLETE GRADLE EXECUTION". ... FINISHED WITH NON-ZERO EXIT VALUE 126.
