683 PointsisOnMap variables not printing to the console
The files compile properly, and the file executes without crashing (as far as I can tell), but its not printing the True and False statements to the command line.
I feel I haven't properly defined isOnMap, but can't find any errors when I compare it to the code in the video.
Game.cs:
using System;
namespace TreehouseDefense
{
class Game
{
public static void Main()
{
Map map = new Map(8, 5);
Point point = new Point(4, 2);
bool isOnMap = map.OnMap(point);
Console.WriteLine(isOnMap);
point = new Point (8, 5);
isOnMap = map.OnMap(point);
Console.WriteLine(isOnMap);
}
}
}
Map.cs
namespace TreehouseDefense
{
class Map
{
public readonly int Width;
public readonly int Height;
public Map(int width, int height)
{
Width = width;
Height = height;
}
public bool OnMap(Point point)
{
return point.X >= 0 && point.X < Width &&
point.Y >= 0 && point.Y < Height;
}
}
}

2,474 PointsHello! Had the same issue, everything was right, but still didn't printed. I checked if console commands were right.
You should use mcs -out:TreehouseDefense.exe *.cs && mono TreehouseDefense.exe I just missed first .exe when tried to compile & run.
Hope this helps.

4,306 PointsYour code is apparently right, don't forget to save all the files before runing the program.
