Is this broken?

I'm getting an error on this quiz saying that I am not passing in a string to the function but I'm pretty sure that I am.

tests.py
import unittest

from string_fun import is_palindrome

class PalindromeTestCase(unittest.TestCase):
    def setUp(self):
        tcat = 'tacocat'
        cat = 'cat'

    def test_good_palindrome(self):
        self.assertTrue(is_palindrome('tacocat'))

    def test_bad_palindrome(self):
        self.assertFalse(is_palindrome('yarn'))
string_fun.py
def is_palindrome(yarn):
    """Return whether or not a string is a palindrome.

    A palindrome is a word/phrase that's the same in
    both directions.
    """
    return yarn == yarn[::-1]

Your code looks fine.

You can pass the challenge by removing

def setUp(self):
        tcat = 'tacocat'
        cat = 'cat'
