5,755 PointsIs this a mistake in UX design lecture?
The instructor is talking about modeling, testing, & executing the experience. In the lecture, and taken directly from the transcript, she says, "And then we UXers work to put the user and the needed information into a context that allows the user a low anxiety, high delay experience."
My question is, why would we want to give the user a "high delay experience"? This seems contrary to everything the instructor has said about providing a stress-free, enjoyable experience. In other words, I don't get it.
Can anyone explain? Is this a mistake on her part? if so, it needs to be corrected. If not, then it needs to be explained better.
Thank you.

15,419 PointsIt is a bad transcription. She actually says, "... a low anxiety, high delight experience."
