131 PointsIs this a glitch?
In the first task, I am prompted to delete the "planned" variable, so I write the following line of code "del planned" Boom, all is well. Next task, create the variable "total" and have it equal to the sum of "current_count" and "upcoming_releases" I type the following line of code "total = current_count + upcoming_releases" and after checking my work, get the error message, "task one is no longer passing. I haven't changed any part of the previous line of code, so I can assume that it is a glitch of some sort.
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
total = current_ count + upcoming_releases

That is a very misleading error, as it never has anything to do with the previous task.
What this error means is that you have done something wrong in the current task (and this affects the code checker).
In this case, you have a space in your current_count
variable name for the total
sum line. Remove that space and you're all good to go.
