18,523 PointsIs there a bug in the Build a JavaFX Application quiz?
The question is asking to "Add the proper character to the FXML below that will bind the value of the text node to the first name field: <Text text="______{controller.firstName}" />"
I believe the answer to the question is $ but it will not accept that answer.
Am I right or do I have the wrong answer?
Thanks
Hugo Hayes
Courses Plus Student 13,146 PointsIs it because we're not using a MAC? I have not progressed since 2d ago

11,183 PointsHey, I am on Ubuntu 16.04. But don't think it as an issue here. I saw one another guy got the same issue, and he has posted to community and it hasn't been answered by anyone yet. :-(

18,523 PointsI don't think it is system dependent. Nothing else I have come across has been. I could be wrong though, of course. Very disappointing that there has been no answer on this in several days.
