Wordpress is still on version 4 (same as the treehouse track) you'll be pleased to know. I've learn't everything off here that I know and I am a Wordpress theme developer myself, so dive right in!
As a note: I don't think Treehouse will be producing any additional Wordpress courses though from reading about, so whats on here is what you will get - please correct me if I'm wrong!
