Is the video wrong? I couldn't get it to work unless I moved the "global $options;" inside the function. (Thanks for the help Erik!)
<?php
$options = array();
function my_plugin_options_page() {
global $options;
if( !current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) {
wp_die( 'You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.' );
}
if( isset( $_POST['my_plugin_hidden_field'] ) ) {
$my_plugin_username = esc_html( $_POST['my_plugin_username'] );
}
require('includes/page-wrapper.php');
}
?>

6,799 PointsFunctions cannot see variables that are written outside it. The global keyword lets you reference variables that are created outside of it.

4,385 PointsYou do need to call the the global $options; within the function.
