1,193 PointsIs "return isHit;" part necessary in our code? I don't get it
public boolean applyGuess(char letter)
{
boolean isHit = answer.indexOf(letter) != -1;
if(isHit)
{
hits += letter;
} else
{
misses += letter;
}
return isHit;
}
I notice that isHit will be returned as a boolean right? so it will return the same boolean from our condition. I just can't understand what's the point of using return isHit at the ends
