17,232 PointsNo its not a database, yes you can store data to a plist. A plist is good for small pieces of data, like user defaults that are are stored in a plist. Its not recommended to store larger amounts of data in a plist, one reason is that you read back the entire list even though you might only need some small part, so its not as efficient as a database.
