6,715 PointsIs Java FX a front end developer specific skill set or are most java developers expected to know JavaFX?
This is a general question.

17,657 PointsFrom my experience as a front-end developer, I don't think that it would be considered a standard front-end developer skill. Most front-end these days is written in html/css/JavaScript rather than in JavaFX or Swing. It might be useful if you are working on a Java app rather than a Java-backed website/service, but in general I'd disregard it (unless specified by the employer) if you are working towards a front-end web development position.
