Is it still worth buying Designing With Web Standards and Bulletproof Web Design?

Keeping in mind I already had the introduction of Web Design here, at Treehouse, should I wait for next editions or just go for it, as it surely goes deeper on the subject?

I'm probably buying them anyway, but I wonder how much outdated stuff I'll have to pass as I read.

Hi Leonardo Costa,

Any reading material will help deepen your knowledge of good design and help you come up with new ideas. One thing that has help me over the past year is using a service called Safari Online.

If you enjoy reading material and want the latest and greatest, safari online provides online books with the newest editions. The last book I read was JavaScript the Good Parts and with Safari I got access to some of the author workshop videos.

Its just another option if you want to do more reading and worried about getting the most up to date content. To answer your question above, I would purchase the book. More reading never hurts lol

Good Luck!

Thanks for your answer!

The Safari Books Online website looks really interesting. Kinda like Netflix for books. And it's well designed too. I'm having the same excitement I had when I started using Treehouse: everything I want to learn about web and tech at the reach of my fingertips.

And with the free trial I can say for myself if the book is worth buying, anyway. Awesome!
