2,381 PointsIs it okay to watch videos with my wife and to help her in her coding journey.
I am thinking about getting my wife an account. We both have our systems in the same room. And I want her to learn how to code.
Is it okay if my wife watches her videos beside me on her system, and from time to time I help her explain things that she does not understand, and obviously help her through the exercises or any concepts that she is facing difficulties with?
This would mean that I would be viewing the content on her profile too.
Would this be okay?
Or do I have to leave the room everytime she decides to watch a video or view the content of her course?
That would be quite unrealistic.

Treehouse Moderator 11,077 PointsIt's perfectly fine for you to help your wife out while she's learning how to code. There is no strict requirement that says you must work on these videos alone and without external help. Luckily this isn't structured like a school exam, so help her all you want, so long as she asks for help ;)

2,381 PointsThat's a relief. We just have our systems side by side, so if she's watching the videos, I would hear them too, and I would be able to see them too, and then she may need my help from time to time. So just wasn't sure if that would come under sharing accounts.
But glad it doesn't thanks.
