5,394 PointsIs it common/possible that the Product Owner is a customer/employed at a different company?
I was wondering if it is possible or even common practice that the Product Owner is the customer?
For example if company A commissions another company B to develop a special software for them. Is it possible that the Product Owner is someone from company A while the rest of the scrum team works at company B?
In my opinion, that way the Product Owner is in a better position to take the needs of the stakeholders into account.
