IOS Development - Changing background (works in xcode 8, not here in workspace).

here is my code.... and solutions.

colors.swift 
class ViewController: UIViewController {

    override func viewDidLoad() {
        // Do any additional setup after loading the view, typically from a nib.
    }

    override func didReceiveMemoryWarning() {
        // Dispose of any resources that can be recreated
    }
    let blueColor = UIColor.blueColor()
    view.backgroundColor = blueColor
}

Hi Daren, you have to change the backgroundColor inside a method. I would recommend viewDidLoad().

class ViewController: UIViewController {

    override func viewDidLoad() {
        let blueColor = UIColor.blueColor()
        view.backgroundColor = blueColor
    }

}
