invisible mistake

I have to apologize for such a primitive question, but I'm stuck. In the code challenge the program finds a mistake in the code, which I can't find. The error message is as follows: "Make sure you include an image tag that displays "img/numbers-01.jpg". It's there, and when I preview the page, all the images are in place. Rechecked the code MANY times... I'd appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Yana,

Youre supposed to just add the images, no links. If you remove the link tags (a), the challenge will pass.

Hi Yana-

I think that your code is right, but you added a link <a href></a> for your images, which is throwing off the verification. Try:

 <section>
      <ul>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
      </ul>
    </section>

Thank you so much, Rebecca and Hugo! I would have stared at this code for God knows how much longer))
