28,558 PointsThe issue is that you declare the randomNumber
variable twice, which is invalid in Java. The datatype of a variable (int
in this case) should only be used when declaring a variable, when you want to simply change the value of an existing variable it should not be included.
So if you simply remove int
from your third line of code like this:
Random randomGenerator = new Random();
int randomNumber = randomGenerator.nextInt();
randomNumber = randomGenerator.nextInt(10);
Then your code will pass task 3.
