iOS Enumerations and Optionals in Swift Introduction to Enumerations Enum Methods

Instructions say assign to a constant named 'done'. Compiler throws an error saying assign to doneButton. Neither works

I may have something wrong with the way the style is set up as when I print doneButton.style in Xcode, I get "UIBarButtonItemStyle" instead of "UIBarButtonItemStyle.done". However, printing the raw value is 2, whereas assigning it to plain provides a raw value of 0.

Anywho, I'm probably missing a detail or two as usual. Any help is appreciated

buttons.swift
// Example of UIBarButtonItem instance
// let someButton = UIBarButtonItem(title: "A Title", style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)

enum BarButton {
    case done(title: String, style: UIBarButtonItemStyle, target: Any?, action: Selector?)
    case edit(title: String, style: UIBarButtonItemStyle, target: Any?, action: Selector?)

    func button() -> UIBarButtonItem {
        switch self {
        case .done(let title, let style, let target, let action):
            return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: style, target: target, action: action)
        case .edit(let title, let style, let target, let action):
            return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: style, target: target, action: action)
        }

    }
}

let done = BarButton.done(title: "A Title", style: .done, target: nil, action: nil).button()
let edit = BarButton.edit(title: "A Title", style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil).button()

Hi Kenneth - This is how you complete the task; let me know if you have any questions

enum BarButton {
    case done(title: String)
    case edit(title: String)

    func button() -> UIBarButtonItem{
        switch self {
        case .done(let title):
            return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
        case .edit(let title):
            return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
    }
}

}
let done = BarButton.done(title: "Save")
let button = done.button()
