Courses Plus Student 1,889 PointsInstalling Wordpress locally. Have I missed how to set up PhpMyAdmin?
I am lost about PhpMyAdmin: how to get to it and how to set it up. Have I missed a section of the course. My dialogues are slightly different to those on the course and I can't get to PhpMyAdmin.
On my machine, the Mamp start page there is a list of root stuff and a pathway to do with it, but I don't understand what to do - I'm lost!
I googled PhpMyAdmin and downloaded the software. In that dialogue box there is a load of checking bits I know nothing about - something about verifying a signature.
I have all the PhpMyAdmin files in my download box, but have no idea where to put them.
Have a missed a whole section on PhpMyAdmin installation?
Thanks for any help!

12,471 PointsHi Diane,
Setting up a wordpress install locally should be fairly simple. If you have downloaded and installed a version of MAMP then you are all set to start the project. I actually answered this in a similar way here
The only difference - I used a skeleton theme but you can skip these steps :)
PhpMyAdmin can be accessed here
I hope this helps

Courses Plus Student 1,889 PointsHi Samuel - thanks for your reply. Ah thanks for that link to PhpMyAdmin - I think that was what I couldn't find! It takes me to the window they have in the course - so I can find my way again. Thanks again Diane
