Inside the <section> element, create an unordered list with three blank list items. This will become an image gallery ?

I got stuck on this part with the section - I got confused on the <section> </section> part as to add an unordered list with three blank list items for an image ?

Do you mean the first part of the challenge? If so: You are expected to only add the tags for an <ul> with the tags for three empty <li>-items inside. 

    <ul>
        <li></li>
        <li></li>
        <li></li>
      </ul>

The second part asks you to add three specific images - if you have trouble with that, please write back.

Thank you - sorry for the late reply - Yes I am still stuck on the : Inside the three new list items, add the following images: "numbers-01.jpg", "numbers-02.jpg", and "numbers-06.jpg". Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!

No Problem. If you've entered the code above in the challenge you simply did way too much. :-) The task is to only add the three image elements with the specific images and the empty alt attributes inside - with no additional links or paragraphs or additional images.

I entered this code and it worked: 

      <ul>
        <li><img src="numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
      </ul>

The challenges here at treehouse are very specific: Even if your code is correct in general, the system does usually not recognize it, if it does not fit exactly what is asked for in the task. Hope, this helps! :-)
