Yo! I recently watched a video on SVG Basics. In it, the guy said that there are easier ways to embed code than typing out all of the SVG (since apparently SVG can be tedious). He went on to say, that an easier way to do/embed SVG is to go into Adobe Illustrator, do your thing, and then transfer the data and embed it into SVG. The problem is, Adobe isn't really in my budget, right now.
My alternative idea was to download an illustrator alternative and the first thing I came across was Inkscape. Can I do the same or similar thing with Inkscape that I can do with Illustrator (i.e. embed and work with SVG)?
Basically my question.
Thanks! :)

231,269 PointsI haven't used it myself, but one of the features mentioned on the Inkscape website is "Perfectly compliant SVG format file generation and editing".
