indexOf('someLetter') >=0;

So, can I use just indexOf('someLetter') > -1; Will that do?

Hi Zeljko,

you need a String reference for the indexOf method. So indexOf can find your 'character' inside this String and return an index where the character is located.

Like:

String str = "string";
str.indexOf('s');
