Let's practice with indexes! Make a new variable named var1 that is either a list or a string. Make sure that var1[5], the item with an index value of 5, is the letter "t".
I'm not sure what went wrong here
varl = 'abcdet'

Treehouse TeacherOh wow! You're so close. There's nothing wrong with your code. You've simply mistyped the variable name and now the challenge can't find what it's looking for. You've typed varl
instead of var1
. Note your version is var and a lower case L. The version they're looking for is var and a one.
Yours with varl:
varl = 'abcdet'
Edited to be var1:
var1 = 'abcdet'
Hang in there! You're doing great!

65,469 PointsYour code looks fine.
Try:
- Refreshing the page and re-entering the code.
- If you copy-pasted the code into the challenge, remove the code and type it out instead of copy-pasting. th If this doesn't work, send an email to help@teamtreehouse.com.
EDIT: Jennifer is right. I just didn't see that lol :)
I never would of seen that.
