Now in your new method, have it return a number representing the count of tiles that match the letter that was passed in to the method. Make sure to check Example.java for some example uses.
I can not seem to get my counter to work.... please help me see what I'm doing wrong.

public int getCountOfLetter(char letter){
int count=0;
for(char tile: tiles.toCharArray()){
if(tile == letter){ //change made here
count++; //equivalent to count += 1;
}
}
return count; //moved this outside loop
}
You needed to return count outside the loop, needed to increment by 1 (not count), and your test was probably a mistake as it doesn't actually use the tile variable.
