In the test Change the color of tag h1 How do i change the color?

Because in .css there no clue to change the color, need some help.

:white_check_mark: James is entirely correct.

But just for grins (and since James left a comment instead of an answer) .. here's a way to do it that would not affect any other h1's that might be added later to the document:

index.html
    <h1 class="purple">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>
styles.css
.purple {
    color: purple;
}

But a general rule for challenges is "keep it simple" — so James' solution is more correct for the challenge.

Since there is only one h1 element, you can just select h1 in css as follows...

h1 {
    color: purple;
}
