Development Tools Database Foundations Introduction to Data, Databases and SQL Inserting Data

In the "actors" table INSERT a new actor with the name "Michael J. Fox".

If some 1 could tell whats wrong with my code, i would greatly appreciate am getting this........ SQL Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'INSERT INTO actors VALUES ("Michael J.Fox".)' at line 1

You certainly need a space after the J. before Fox.

I'll have a go and see what else might be a problem.

This works:

INSERT INTO actors VALUES("Michael J. Fox")

So I guess it is that space and the full stop inside the bracket. (("Michael J.Fox".))
