I am not sure if a newer version does not bring this example file up, or if I did not click something during install but, next set of videos shows you where this is. Keep watching these next intro videos and they will get into more of what these are. You can see some info below as well if you are like me and just need to know what is going on before moving on.
It is quite difficult to navigate through all of these directories and files when you are first looking at all this stuff.
If you look at the top left of the app working directory/project window pane(the left nav window with the gradle scrips), there is a down arrow caret that will let you navigate; the options are like "project", "packages", "project files", "android", and a few others".
Select Android and navigate to funfacts>app>java> here there are a few com.testing.funfacts directories and the .kt file should be there
you can also select "project files" and go to app>src>androidTest>java>com>testing>funfacts
Hope this helps, it took me a while to get it.
