Ruby Ruby Basics (Retired) Ruby Strings String Methods

I'm watching the video on String Method for the Intro to Ruby course and the video isn't showing what he is typing.

You can hear Jason typing as he is talking but the screen of the video is not showing the changes he is talking about. Anyone else have this problem? It's a little frustrating.
