Python Web Development Techdegree Student 922 Pointsim trying to change the problem to a float and i am having trouble

3,112 PointsYou're doing parameters incorrectly. You should just take variable names as parameters. Here's an example:
def add(num1, num2):
total = num1 + num2
return total
In my code, I'm taking 2 parameters; num1 and num2. Then, I'm putting them together in 'total' and returning them after that. This worked for the challenge.
