I'm trying to alert "It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out." but is not working. What am I missing?

I'm no Expert on this Language, but you should check the Javascript file name again. I tried, and working fine for me.

Yes, your solution is correct. I am having the same problem with the interface. I pasted the files into an external editor and opened the HTML file and it works fine.
