I can't seem to figure out the final step. Can someone explain it to me?
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}".format("; ".join(sundaes))
display_menu = "' ".join(sundaes)

Two things:
- In your display_menu assignment, you have an apostrophe (') instead of a comma (,).
- You're missing the menu reassignment where you have to change the format of the string. I won't post the solution here, but with the update to display_menu and your previous code, it should be a cinch : )
Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help.
