7,803 PointsI'm really confused :(
What is wrong with my lovely code, I cant figure that out, please help:
public class ScrabblePlayer {
private String mHand;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
mHand = "";
}
public String getHand() {
return mHand;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// Adds the tile to the hand of the player
mHand += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
}
public int getTileCount(char character) {
int count = 0;
for(char letter: mHand.toCharArray()) {
if(mHand.indexOf(letter) >= 0) {
count++;
}
}
return count;
}
}
Thanks for advance :)

23,733 PointsYou are not using the character variable passed into the getTileCount method. Try this:
public int getTileCount(char character) {
int count = 0;
for(char letter: mHand.toCharArray()) {
if(letter == character) {
count++;
}
}
return count;
}
