16,767 PointsI'm not sure why my code isn't working. I get to the last step and it tells me that Task 1 is no longer passing.
I didn't change any part of task 1 but when I try to join sundaes it gives me that error.
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = sundaes.join(", ")
menu.format(display_menu)

42,386 PointsHi Ethan, if you ever encounter a task is no longer working issue, it generally means something is preventing your code from running properly.. such as a syntax issue.
display_menu = sundaes.join(", ")
You are not able to call the join
method on a list because lists don't have a join
method.
display_menu = ". ".join(sundaes)
That is what you are looking for.
You also have to re assign the result to menu too.
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
menu = menu.format(display_menu)
