//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
$role = 'admin';
}
//change to switch statement
switch ($role){
case ($role == 'admin'):
echo ('As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.');
break;
case ($role =='subscriber'):

155,055 PointsHi mathieu,
What is throwing things off is a slight difference in syntax for the case clauses. The compiler knows that $role is being checked because you specified it in the switch statement. Thus, you want the case statements just to check for the string values themselves, and not if $role is equal to those particular values.
This would mean rewriting the first lines of your case clauses to be like:
case 'admin':
case 'subscriber':
Hope this helps!
