Hi there! Challenges are very strict and testing for very specific things. Quite often, they will not be exactly like the code that you're currently working on in your project, and very often be something entirely different. Doing things the challenge does not explicitly ask for can cause it to fail even if it would otherwise be functional.

Here we see these instructions on step 2:

Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!

Your code, however, contains links and paragraphs inside of each list item. This is causing the challenge to fail.

Also, while I believe that your links to the files would work for the challenge, it doesn't say that they are in an images folder. Because of this, we can assume that they are in the current directory. Take a look at the passing code:

<section>
    <ul>
        <li><img src="numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
    </ul>
</section>

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

can you explain more detail about your problem or what part that's wrong? so that i can identify your code specifically
