61 PointsI'm new to this website. Would like some help?
Hello, I'm a new user of this website and I would like to learn to code, web design and app development but I'm very confused on where to start from. I think I'm on a basic package which I only pay $25 for. I don't know what I'm restricted to but would love to have some suggestions on where to start from and how to start. The website is a bit confusing for me to understand. Thank you for your suggestions and help. :)

28,558 PointsThe basic package gives you access to most courses on this site, there are some Pro exclusive courses but those are marked as such. There are two tracks (tracks are essentially just a collection of courses) that focus on beginner web design / development. Those are the Web Design track, and the Front End Web Development track.
There is some course overlap between those two tracks, but as the names implies the Web design track has some courses that focus specifically on design, which the Front End Web Development track does not have. To make up for that the Front End Web Development track includes some basic beginner JavaScript courses, which is the scripting language used to make websites interactive. The Web Design track has no courses on JavaScript.
If you are interesting in coding and the like then I would recommend starting with the Front End Web Development track, since it gives you an introduction to all of the main web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
It is worth noting that you can of course do both tracks if you feel like it, or neither for that matter. Since tracks are just guided selections of courses you can decide to instead just select the courses you are interested in on your own and just go though them one by one without joining any of the tracks. I would recommended going with a track though, especially in the beginning as that means you don't have to worry about a track expecting you to know something taught in another course you have not done yet.
As far as App Development goes Treehouse has tracks for both IOS and Android app development. If you want to develop iOS apps then I would recommend the Beginner iOS Development track. If you are interested in Android development then I recommend the Beginner Android Development track.
If you have any other questions or want something clarified then feel free to ask me, I'll answer any questions I can.
